May 6 2009 : Free Standing Hoist Tower & Access Bridge
We have recently designed this free standing hoist tower and the associated access bridge for UBS at Kettering General Hospital.
The hoist tower resists overturning by means of holding down bolts and a concrete base slab. The bridge gives access to a third floor ward during refurbishment without obstructing corridors and stairways within the building.

January 12 2009 : Ellis Design launch their new website
Ellis Design launch their new website today. The new site has details of many of the projects we have worked on, with detailed photographs of many of them. Further photographs can be found in the Gallery section.
The site was created for us by Webcraft UK Ltd. Managing Director Nick Bowles commented:
“Ellis Design already had a lot of content on their website but it was difficult to navigate and not very search engine friendly. We are confident that having a new modern looking online portfolio showing their wide range of expertise and experience will pay dividends for the company in the coming months and years.”
